28 Safar Wafat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Commemorates the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
13 Rajab Birth of Imam Ali (AS) Celebrates the birth of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), the first Imam and cousin of the Prophet (PBUH).
15 Sha’ban Birth of Imam Mahdi (AS) Celebrates the birth of the 12th Imam, Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (AS), the awaited savior.
1 Ramadan Beginning of Ramadan The start of the holy month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
21 Ramadan Martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS) Commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), who was struck while praying in the Mosque of Kufa.
1 Shawwal Eid al-Fitr The festival of breaking the fast, celebrating the completion of Ramadan.
10 Dhul Hijjah Eid al-Adha The festival of sacrifice, coinciding with the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah.
18 Dhul Hijjah Eid al-Ghadir Commemorates the event at Ghadir Khumm, when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) designated Imam Ali (AS) as his successor.
